Ketan Deshpande is Ashoka fellow & Founder & CEO of a non-profit FUEL (Friends Union Energizing Lives)which is enabling rural youth to have successful careers through a support system that bridges the information gap, helps them acquire skills and influences policies
(Career Counselling & Skilling) & has reached up to 1 million needy youth of India & Africa.
• Ketan has completed his Masters in Business Administration from Symbiosis International University and has also completed Bachelors in Sociology and Masters in Education from India. Ketan is also a Fellow to Judge Business School University of Cambridge UK
• Ketan has represented India at Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES), 2016 at Stanford University, USA
He has worked with several foundations and is a regular speaker at various Entrepreneurship Forums
• Fuel works with large Companies under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with social innovation projects on Career Counselling, Skilling, and implementation of scholarship programs for needy and meritorious girl students.
• FUEL runs CGSC (Career Guidance & Skilling Centres) in 13 states of India and also in Africa(Uganda) with outreach to 1 million needy youth and wish to replicate the model to outreach 10 million youth
